I made the original quote in the Columbus Dispatch about stress levels and classical music.

Actually, the connection between high level stress and classical music has been well documented in academic studies. Just to make a personal observation on the subject, whenever things don't go well in a performance, in the aftermath I almost always think to myself "Well, at least nobody died in the process of what happened tonight on stage."

The post from the ATC speaks very sympathetically about the subject, and clearly with some familiarity.

The "Escape" theme was from CGDC #7 (see here http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2010/01/game-competition-puts-indies-interactive-fiction-in-focus.ars) but we coopted it instead of waiting to see what the official Global Game Jam regional theme was. I do not regret this!

It's always a shame to see a Vault Hunter cut down in his prime by data corruption (the silent killer.)

I would be happy to devote my time and millions of dollars to help you level up and equip a new character.

I'm with you on the hate for these URL shorteners - and while your suggestion has some merit, the problem is, Twitter has that limit because they let you receive tweets as SMS messages, so adding metadata or making them longer would break this aspect of their service.

But yeah, i pretty much never click any links from URL shorteners on principle. I'm looking forward to when twitter and facebook are no longer front and center on the web.
