Productivity

I don’t do anything when I am home. Â I watch TV and, at my most productive, go to great lengths to pirate stuff. Â I’m not really getting a lot “done” and I really would like to.
Over my vacation I managed to get a program I’d started months ago to a point where it will solve Easy and Medium difficulty 9×9 sudoku problems. Â Why did I do this over my vacation? Â Because I could. Â After a long day programming at work I rarely ever have the energy required to keep writing code when I get home. Â It’s easier to just let my brain relax. Â The problem is that I feel much better when I do stuff and have created something I can be proud of.
Work sucks the life out of me, but with a little encouragement and some form of accountability I believe we can all get something done with our time that would otherwise go to waste.
So I’ll make a pact with anyone who wants to that we’ll be productive. Â We can watch each others’ backs and if slip-ups occur we give friendly advice and warnings. Â If slip-ups continue then penalties will be created and enforced, Tenacious D style.
Want to write 1000 words a day? Â Want to draw a picture a day? Â Want to construct a scale replica of the Great Wall of China out of ketchup packets? Â If you’re interested in teaming up for the greater good of mankind then “holla” at me.
