Some background: Congressman Wexler is working with Rep. Kucinich (and presumably Kucinich’s hawt wife) to bring about some overdue impeachments.  It’s a really cool finishing move, but I do have a gripe with some of the BS baggage ol’ Wex is toting around with him.

My problem isn’t specifically with the Wex, but with whoever he hired to write his emails.  Problem one: delusions of grandeur.

My strong and vocal stands in favor of impeaching President Bush and Vice President Cheney have made me a target. I am now under siege by the right wing, who are working hard to defeat me and silence the causes that we believe in.

OK, buddy.  If you say so.  The Big Bad Republicans are out to get you.  That sucks; continue.

In the eyes of the right wing, I am seen, along with Rep. Kucinich, as one of the symbols of the impeachment fight. They believe that if they defeat me – they defeat our cause.

Aside from the grammar (Wexner + Kucinich = “one of the symbols”?) he’s pissing me off by selling me some bullshit.  I know that if they defeat him the cause won’t be defeated.  The Republicans know he’s not the only challenger to the throne.  I know that both he and the Repubs know this, but he wants me to believe otherwise.  In fact, he wants me to believe that (and I’m reading between the lines a LOT here) the future course of Justice in the Free World depends on him.

Well what’s the point? He sent me an email to tell me how important he is?  What’s this got to do with me?

OK, Wexlerites, I fucking get it.  Six links is ENUFF.  You want money.  You need money.  You DEMAND DONATIONS.  Whatever, I’m not giving you any.  This impeachment, according to you, is your fucking job.  Do it NOW, because there’s only a 2 month window between your reelection and his leaving office.  If you haven’t done it in 7 and 5/6th years then I have no fucking faith that Congress is going to rush this long and difficult process through in that short time frame.
