First of the month – and you know what that means…

ryan-1This month, I opted to stick with the TV theme – sort of.  Ryan Reynolds started out in TV, so I think that counts (what? You don’t remember “Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place”?).  Most recently, I loved him in “Definitely Maybe”.  Ryan Reynolds was born and raised in Canada.  Yes, really; he’s a Canuck.  He failed an acting class in high school (amusing) and was on a Nickelodeon show for several years before joining up with the other guy and the girl at the pizza place.  He very nearly gave up acting, but was persuaded to give it one more shot and move to LA with a friend.  His first night there, his jeep was stripped and pushed down a hill (maybe they don’t like Canadians in LA? Hard to say.).  You can see him this summer in Wolverine or The Proposal.  On a more personal note, Ryan Reynolds married Scarlett Johansson last September… lucky girl.  He’s afraid of flying, loves Amsterdam, and would like to play the Flash if a movie’s ever made.
