Sylva Yepremian was born in Lebanon and raised in Paris. At the age of sixteen, Sylva and her family moved to Los Angeles to run the family’s jewelry business. Sylva’s father produced fine jewelry for many prestigious jewelry houses in Europe including Cartier. Under his skilled tutelage, Sylva received and old-world, proper training at the craftsman’s bench.

Sylva launched her own brand Sylva & Cie in 2007. To this day, she oversees the meticulous design, gemstone selection and layout, and every aspect of production for her handcrafted pieces. Her one-of-a-kind designs start as a simple rough sketch. No two pieces are alike—each is meticulously hand wrought with the utmost care and attention to detail in in her California atelier.
