The flower on this iconic Sophie Joanne pendant is hand-carved from Chrysoprase by an expert artisan, using an age-old carving technique. Chrysoprase traditionally symbolizes happiness, enterprise, and prudence. The pendant is set with a brilliant-cut apatite. Wearing apatite is thought to enhance focus, clarity for concentration, intellect, acceptance and unconditional love.
The Hura shape is inspired by Karl Blossfeldt (1928), who specialized in macro photography of plants, flowers, and seed heads, resulting in strikingly modern and beautiful images.
